Refund Policy

Our commitment: FuturestaQ stands behind the quality of our work. We have a specific, limited guarantee on our Revenue Reliability Audit. For all other services, our refund policy is designed to be fair — protecting both the client's investment and FuturestaQ's delivered work. If you have a concern, please email us at team@futurestaq.com before initiating any payment dispute.

1. Revenue Reliability Audit

Guarantee: If FuturestaQ does not identify a minimum of 10 distinct, actionable reliability gaps in your product within the 48-hour delivery window, you will receive a full refund. No questions asked.

  • The guarantee applies to the audit deliverable — the identification and documentation of gaps. It does not apply to downstream revenue impact from acting on those gaps.
  • If the client fails to provide required access, product documentation, or intake form responses within 24 hours of payment, FuturestaQ may extend the delivery window. The guarantee still applies to the final delivery.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the audit report by emailing team@futurestaq.com with the subject "Audit Refund Request".
  • Cancellation before work begins: full refund within 3 business days.
  • Cancellation after intake form received but before delivery: 50% refund.
  • No refund once the audit report has been delivered.

2. Revenue Leak Finder Sprint (7-day)

  • Before kickoff call: Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled kickoff call.
  • After kickoff, before Day 3 delivery: 50% refund. Work completed to that point is billed.
  • After Day 3 interim delivery: No refund. Remaining deliverables will still be completed.
  • If FuturestaQ fails to deliver the agreed scope within the 7-day timeline due to our own delay (not client delay), we will extend at no charge or offer a partial refund by mutual agreement.

3. Monthly Retainer Engagements (90-Day, Fractional CTO, Advisory)

  • Monthly retainers are billed at the start of each month and are non-refundable once the month has begun.
  • Either party may cancel with 30 days written notice. The final 30 days of service are included in the notice period.
  • If FuturestaQ terminates an engagement for convenience, we will refund the unused pro-rated portion of the current month's fees.
  • Refunds are not issued for months where services were actively delivered, even if the client did not utilise all available time.

To cancel a retainer, email team@futurestaq.com with "Cancellation Notice" in the subject. The 30-day notice period begins on the date we confirm receipt of the cancellation in writing.

4. Staff Augmentation

  • Staff augmentation engagements bill for actual days worked. There are no refunds for days already worked.
  • Minimum engagement: 1 calendar month. The first month's fee is non-refundable once the engineer is onboarded.
  • Notice period: 2 weeks written notice to end the engagement. You are billed for the notice period regardless of whether you utilise the engineer during that time.
  • If an engineer is underperforming or not meeting expectations, please raise this within the first 5 working days. FuturestaQ will replace the engineer at no additional charge within this window. After 5 days, the standard notice period applies.

5. Payment Gateway Integration

  • Before project kickoff: Full refund within 3 business days if cancelled before the intake call.
  • After intake call, before integration work begins: 50% refund.
  • Once integration work has begun: No refund. If the integration cannot be completed due to a third-party constraint (e.g., the payment gateway denying an account), FuturestaQ will work with you on an alternative solution or a credit towards another service.

6. AI-Powered Software Development

Development projects are managed on a milestone basis as defined in the Statement of Work:

  • The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable once development work has commenced (typically within 24–48 hours of payment for fast-track projects).
  • If a milestone is delayed beyond the agreed date due to FuturestaQ's failure (not client-side delays or scope changes), you may request a credit equal to 10% of that milestone's value for each week of delay, up to a maximum of 30%.
  • If the project is cancelled by the client after a milestone is delivered, the delivered milestone's payment is non-refundable. Future milestone payments are not charged.
  • If the project is cancelled by the client before any milestone is delivered, the deposit is refunded minus costs already incurred (hosting, tools, third-party services purchased on your behalf).

7. Product Subscriptions (Vellix, ContentStaq, SalesStaq, LinkedInStaq, YoutubeStaq, GuardProbe, ImpersonIQ)

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you retain access until then.
  • Free trials (where offered) do not require payment and therefore have no refund applicable.
  • Exception: If a product is materially non-functional and the issue is not resolved within 5 business days of a reported bug, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period. Contact team@futurestaq.com with a description and evidence of the issue.

8. How to Request a Refund

Email team@futurestaq.com with:

Subject: Refund Request — [Service Name]
Body: Your name, company, date of payment, payment reference number, and reason for the request.

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and resolve it within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval, subject to the payment processor's timelines (Razorpay, Stripe, or Wise).

Raising a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us may affect our ability to work with you and will result in the disputed amount becoming a debt subject to recovery.

9. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Karnataka, India. Disputes regarding refunds that cannot be resolved informally will be handled under the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms and Conditions.
